Larry Faria collection on Lake County courts, 1843-2008.

Collection includes several types of court documents. These documents, spanning from 1843 to 1866, show the type of court cases common in Lake County, Ohio during this time period. Of these court papers, most come from the Court of Common Pleas where court cases mainly covered court activities such as divorce, petitions, and motions. Among these documents, there are twenty-four case jackets. These jackets originally folded around their respective court cases. Though these are now empty, many of these jackets cover cases that are discussed in greater depth throughout the collection. Additional materials, such as maps and biographical histories, are also included which date to approximately 2008.
